The number one priority on all Philson projects is the safety and well-being of our employees, other contractors, and the public at large. We believe that all accidents that occur in the workplace are foreseeable and preventable.
An ongoing employee training program ensures that everyone at Philson receives the training they need to perform their jobs safely, efficiently, and to provincial and federal standards. Our Safety program is managed by a full-time employee and boasts amongst the lowest incident rates and WorkSafe compensation rates in New Brunswick.
We value the environment
Philson recognizes the need to minimize our impact on the environment. Philson maintains extensive environmental policies, plans, and programs, with the assistance of outside consultants as required.
Employees are trained to be fully aware of environmental standards and regulations, and how it relates to their work. When possible, eco-friendly products are purchased and recycling is encouraged to reduce waste and our impact on society. Our team at Philson Ltd. has completed various projects with extensive environmental and regulatory compliance requirements. We have worked together on projects with both the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the New Brunswick Department of Environment.
